Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our Board and help to shape our future.
We’re particularly keen to hear from candidates with expertise in housing/property development or development funding.
At 54North Homes, we own and manage more than 4,000 homes throughout Yorkshire.
We believe in providing high quality, affordable homes that are safe, warm and secure and in supporting our customers to live well in their communities. We put customers at the heart of everything that we do and strive to provide an excellent level of service. This extends beyond the bricks and mortar of our homes to empowering our customers and working in partnership to offer a range of other services, from training to financial support.
In addition to investing in our existing homes, we have an ambitious development programme and will provide hundreds of new sustainable homes throughout Yorkshire in the coming years. We will play our part in helping to address the shortage of good-quality affordable housing in the region.
Our housing association was formed in December 2022, through a merger between Leeds & Yorkshire Housing Association and York Housing Association and we’re a subsidiary of Karbon Homes Group.
Our Board plays an integral role in setting our strategic direction, shaping our future and it makes a meaningful impact in communities throughout Yorkshire.
We’re looking for a Board Member who shares our values, brings experience and helps to ensure strong governance. With experience in housing/property development and/or funding, the postholder’s insight will support our growth plans and help us to deliver much-needed affordable homes.
This position offers the chance to work with a talented board and colleagues, contribute to a socially responsible organisation and shape services for the better.
We’re committed to diversity and inclusion and encourage applications from individuals from all backgrounds, including those with lived experience in social housing.
